District 60 has been named a 2025 Gold Ribbon School District in Service-Learning by Youth Service America: one of only six districts in the nation to receive this prestigious recognition.
As the District continues to work to develop a feasible rightsizing plan to strengthen educational opportunities and optimize resources, a key role will be played by the Superintendent’s Advisory Steering Committee.
As the "go-to" person in our buildings, a secretary must be well-versed in all aspects of a school's operation. This requires great attention to detail, fantastic organizational skills, and the ability to multitask, often under great pressure.
Especially during this month, we salute the efforts of our counselors, whose presence in our schools is an essential part of the educational process.
The first round of our community brainstorming sessions on rightsizing is now complete. Thanks to the participation and input of over 600 stakeholders, the sessions proved to be productive and positive, with many great ideas presented.
